Superpowder Juice



This juice (smoothie) will provide you with many vitamins that will support your day and your body with many of the nutrients it needs to renew each cell of it.


Ingredients:

  • Kale 2 leaves. Source of vitamin C, K, Calcium, Potassium, Copper, Manganese, Folate, Vitamin E and others.

  • Baby spinach 1 cup. Source of Vitamin A, E, C, K1, B9, B6, Calcium, Iron, Folic acid and others.

  • Arugula 1/2 cup. Source of Omega 3, Zinc, Folate, Calcium, Potassium, Phosphorous, Magnesium, Iron, Vitamins A, E, K, and B. Great support for your hormones.

  • Beetroot 1/2 of a small head. Source of Folate, Manganese, Copper, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, vitamins C, and B6.

  • 1/2 of one orange. Source of Calcium, Folate, Potassium, Thiamin, Vitamins C and B1.

  • 1/2 cup of diced carrots or baby carrots. Source of Calcium, Iron, Biotin, Potassium, Lutein, Vitamins A, C, K1, and B6.

  • 1/2 cup of broccoli. Source of Zinc, Thiamin, Phosphorous, Potassium, Riboflavin, Niacin, Iron, Calcium, Manganese, Vitamins A, B9, K1 and C.

  • 1/2 cup of blackberries or strawberries. Source of Magnesium, Potassium, Vitamins K, E and C (only one cup contains 1/2 of the daily intake you need of vitamin C).

  • 1/2 cup of blueberries. Source of Folate, Potassium, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Calcium, Phosphorous, Zinc, Vitamins K, B6, A, E, and C (Like blackberries, blueberries are rich in vitamin C )

  • 2 Tbsp of chia seeds. Source of calcium, selenium, iron, magnesium, copper, manganese, omega 3 and 6, phosphorus and others.

  • 1 Tbsp of chlorella or spirulina - Source of vitamins like zinc, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, Vit. .A, B's, Omega 3's and others. Help to flush off from the body heavy metals.

  • 1 1/2 cup of water

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • Mesh strainers (optional).

Preparation:

  • Put the chia in a cup with some water the night before (4 Tbsp of water).

  • Any green juice is better to consume first thing in the morning (empty stomach). Put the kale, baby spinach, arugula, beets, orange, carrots, broccoli, chia seeds, chlorella and water in a blende. Blend until liquid, you can add more water if it's too thick, but not too much because you don't want it to be too runny. No sugar is needed.

  • Pour this juice into a pitcher or jar. Then add 1/2 cup of water in the blender with the berries and blueberries and blend this until is liquid. Pour this into the pitcher, but use a mesh strainer so you don't add the seeds to the juice. Some people do not like the seeds of this fruit between their teeth. It is a preference. If you don't mind, you can blend all the ingredients together without doing this step.

  • Now you are ready to consume this powerful drink that gives you plenty of energy for your day and nourishes the cells of your body so that they renew themselves.

As I say in many of my recipes, don't stress yourself if you don't have all the ingredients. I'd rather you consume some of this powerful juice than not consume them at all. Your body will appreciate it and over time you will notice how much energy it gives you! :)
